Creative Expression

Creative Expression should take its pure form where expression is directly from
the heart. A simple way where a child can choose a medium he is comfortable to work with, to discover and express himself freely! @ IQkidz Art Galore Classes, we want to provide the creative ambience for preschoolers to explore in various media: paints, clay, collage, print making, board printing , puppet making, paper Mache, oil colors
float and many more..

We adopt the use of zero point method where children are given the time,space and room for imagination. Facilitators merely assist children to use various tools and media to express their feelings, ideas and imagination.

In the light of using various media in creative expression, we introduced the following in term 1:

Spatula puppets
Sock puppets
Board Printing
Paper cut
Paper fasteners
sculptures
Pastel etching
Colors toning
Comics strips making

For preschoolers, we believe not to dwell in depth technically in any medium but a walk through various medium from paint, 3D craft to installation. A wide spectrum exposure would be instrumental for young children to gain exposure to discover their inert potential in art expression.

Artistic excursions would open their minds to artworks that inspire and enthrall
them at the beginning of their artistic journey.

In term 2 , we focus on techniques in painting:

1) Wash-effect : To create painting using wet-on-wet
technique (of sky scrape, landscape & seascape).

2) Light & Shadow to create shadows on The ground (of people, streetlamps,
trees etc. ).

3) Dry- Brush : To Create Textural effect using flat brush (of tree leaves, Bushes).

4) Minimalistic Style : A few broad strokes
